Amber Firefly Photography is a unique, creative and innovative theatrical photography company based out of Victoria, BC, and is the brain-child of partners Ashton Cummings and Kara McLachlan.
Having worked on a number of theatrical productions together, Ashton and Kara quickly realized that there were no local businesses specifically catering to the very active theatre community in the area. The decision to combine Ashton’s imaging talent and Kara’s business savvy was an easy one.
Amber Firefly specializes in providing emotionally evocative photos of live performances. Outside the theatrical realm, we are also very passionate about our candid portraiture that captures your unique self, instead of just another tired, old pose in front of a tired, old backdrop.
